Today was a good day. We visited a gorgeous baby boy and had a cuddle. We put our Christmas tree up (and the sloth’s tree upstairs, stay tuned). We made an amazing Summer salad (with haloumi, peaches, prosciutto and more) for dinner, and had gingerbread icecream for dessert. It’s beginning to feel a lot like Summer and Christmas. Except that my tree theme this year is “frosty”. OH! And I have a colour-changing snowflake tree-topper. It’s the best.

Merry Slothmas!
Have Yourself a Slothy Little Christmas
Apologies for not posting a lot over the last couple weeks. Study has been pretty hectic trying to finish off experiments and get things analysed before I have a couple weeks off over Christmas/New Year. Finally on holidays as of 3pm today! I hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season as much as I am. It helps when you do most of your shopping in November and so December is nice and easy on that front (yes, I’m one of THOSE people). I have 2 trees in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs. The one downstairs is the main one, themed, decorated fully, presents underneath. The upstairs one is reserved for the sloths! The tree is, of course, their natural habitat, and they all enjoy dressing up for the festivities!
