A bunch of people I went to school with have started a Facebook group for our 10-year reunion next year. Gosh. Feeling very old now. So many people I’d forgotten the names of. And they’re all posting all these old pictures… oh Gawd. Not impressed.

My boyfriend encourages my sloth obsession
The boy was ordering things on Amazon last night, and found this little hanging sloth for me:
I told him it’s okay, for the time being I have enough sloths (whilst secretly thinking, NEVER!!!). But he talked me into it! I can’t believe how much he encourages my love of sloths.
First workout in three weeks…
…needless to say was a struggle. Hot sweaty mess at the moment. But needed to get back into it. 
Wardrobe emergencies
I have a lot of clothes. But sometimes, you just can’t find the right thing to wear. Take tonight for example.
It’s still warm from the day, so I really wanted to wear a dress. But it was also raining today, so the ground is wet. So both heels and sandals are out (heels will sink, sandals will make my toes dirty from mud). And as I’ve got quite stumpy legs, I don’t like wearing flats with dresses. In addition, it will probably get colder as the evening wears on I need to wear a jacket but I don’t have one that is the right combination of stylish, suited to the outfit, and warm. So I’ve completely redone the outfit I was wearing and now I’m in my Levi’s, ballet flats, and a little jacket to cover my shoulders, but taking a bigger jacket that I can replace it with if need be.

Chinese food hangover
Last night we went out to dinner with some friends from interstate who are back for the weekend. Ate sooo much Chinese, including three courses of Peking duck. All for only $30 a head. Can’t beat that! 
It was muggy today.

Back to Work
I’ve had the last 5 days (including the weekend of course) at home, but went back to work today. It was a pretty good day at work actually, I made a slideshow, finished the first draft of my next paper, and most importantly got some good news on something I’ve been working on for a very long time. One more hurdle and it will be a huge step in my career. Watch this space…
Online shopping and me are totally biffles
Yes, so, Christmas is coming, and I’m about halfway through my Christmas shopping. So far, all except for two things have been purchased online, from the comfort of my couch/bed, with them being sent straight to my door ready for wrapping and putting under the tree (when it eventually goes up).
No busy crowds, no messy lines, no “Oh but your catalogue said you had it in stock! Better drive to another shop”… seriously, it’s the only way to do it. Mainly, the only things I don’t buy online these days are electronics and toys, and that’s mainly due to ease of return. Oh and clothes for myself. And shoes. But OTHER THAN THAT, internet. The best way to go. 
Open Wide
Just got back from my six-month check-up at the dentist. Ouchies. Hate getting my teeth cleaned. Oh well, all done until mid-2015 now. At least my teeth are looking good!
