Bob the Sloth Tips Germany to Win the World Cup

I don’t really get into soccer very much (at all), and since Costa Rica got eliminated from the World Cup, even less. But when a sloth is involved in tipping, you just know I’ll be on board! Wonder if he will be correct this time?

Also, can I please have a sloth to make decisions for me???

Sad Sloth

Feeling a bit down in the dumps today. The job that I do can be pretty ruthless to people who want to actually have a career. *sigh* Pick yourself up, girl!

Costa Rica v Netherlands Google Doodle

The other day the Google Doodle featured a sloth for the Costa Rica vs Netherlands World Cup 2014 match! This speedy little sloth was good at defending! So were the Costa Rica side actually, but unfortunately they couldn’t get over the line in the end. soccerdoodleslothClick here for a link to the archived Doodle which was animated.

Sloth Week

SLOTH WEEK was last week! (seriously, click the link, fantastic)

Sloths do most things upside down- eat, sleep, mate and give birth- and because of this, most of their internal organs are in a different position to other mammals.

A Sloth in Paris

Oh wow, it’s been so long since I posted :(

I’m sorry! After Paris, the wi-fi for the rest of the trip wasn’t that great, and then I got back and have been SO BUSY trying to catch up I just hadn’t got around to posting before now. Also I missed Sloth Week! Last week! Gah! Oh well. From now on I promise I’ll be more diligent in keeping you up to date.

Here’s a few more pics of Doza in Paris. This place was so old and lovely and just different from anything I’ve ever seen. I hope I get the chance to go back there one day. DozaParis DozaLouvreThe other amazing thing about Paris was the BAKED GOODS. So many chocolate croissants and baguettes and cakes and macarons and crepes and just everything was so AMAZING! I had pancakes for breakfast on Sunday and it just wasn’t the same…

This giant macaron was called a “macarola”.DozaMacarona

Parisian Sloths

So I’ve seen a bunch of sloths since being in Paris. One was a toy sitting in the windshield of a bus and the rest are on “train etiquette” billboards at metro stops. This lazy sloth should stand up!

Then we met Cyril the Sloth in Montmarte:CyrilSloth

I take it as a good sign that I am seeing sloths all over the world. Taking over, one city at a time!!
