Brady the Sloth

Brady is Moe’s doting dad. A pale, quiet three-toed sloth, he spends his days fussing over Moe’s wellbeing and generally being a little bit OTT. Single fathers tend to behave like that sometimes. Moe doesn’t mind, he loves his dad and learning all about the sloth life, like how to climb trees properly and forage for food! Brady is a loveable sloth who would look after any sloth that came knocking. If you think he would be a good fit in your family, you can find him here!

The name Brady comes from the genus Bradypus, and family Bradypodidae, of which three-toed sloths are the only members.

A Sloth in Paris

Oh wow, it’s been so long since I posted :(

I’m sorry! After Paris, the wi-fi for the rest of the trip wasn’t that great, and then I got back and have been SO BUSY trying to catch up I just hadn’t got around to posting before now. Also I missed Sloth Week! Last week! Gah! Oh well. From now on I promise I’ll be more diligent in keeping you up to date.

Here’s a few more pics of Doza in Paris. This place was so old and lovely and just different from anything I’ve ever seen. I hope I get the chance to go back there one day. DozaParis DozaLouvreThe other amazing thing about Paris was the BAKED GOODS. So many chocolate croissants and baguettes and cakes and macarons and crepes and just everything was so AMAZING! I had pancakes for breakfast on Sunday and it just wasn’t the same…

This giant macaron was called a “macarola”.DozaMacarona

Parisian Sloths

So I’ve seen a bunch of sloths since being in Paris. One was a toy sitting in the windshield of a bus and the rest are on “train etiquette” billboards at metro stops. This lazy sloth should stand up!

Then we met Cyril the Sloth in Montmarte:CyrilSloth

I take it as a good sign that I am seeing sloths all over the world. Taking over, one city at a time!!

Merry Slothmas!

Merry slothy Christmas to all! Or whatever your preferred season’s greeting may be :) I have indeed had a very slothy Christmas thanks to my wonderful boyfriend, as you can see below. Meet Snoozan everyone! Eat lots, drink bubbly, be merry and celebrate those you love!

Have Yourself a Slothy Little Christmas

Apologies for not posting a lot over the last couple weeks. Study has been pretty hectic trying to finish off experiments and get things analysed before I have a couple weeks off over Christmas/New Year. Finally on holidays as of 3pm today! I hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season as much as I am. It helps when you do most of your shopping in November and so December is nice and easy on that front (yes, I’m one of THOSE people). I have 2 trees in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs. The one downstairs is the main one, themed, decorated fully, presents underneath. The upstairs one is reserved for the sloths! The tree is, of course, their natural habitat, and they all enjoy dressing up for the festivities!
